1) How far in advance should I reserve my rental?

We typically set our delivery schedule 3 days before drop off, especially for the weekend. However, we try to be as flexible as possible, so contact us any time and we will do our best to accommodate you. We often can!

 

2) Do you require a deposit?

We do not typically require any deposit to schedule your reservation.

If we deem it necessary, at any other time, we reserve the right to require a deposit.

 

3) When is payment due?

Payment is required before pick up and be paid online.

We accept Visa & Mastercard.

 

4) Why hire with us?

When you hire through Seat4Kids you reap the benefits of less fuss, light traveling, excellent products and great service.  We want you and your family to relax and thoroughly enjoy your holiday in Australia so we’re here to make it easier for you.

 

5) Can I be assured of high quality baby / toddler equipment?

Yes, you certainly can.  Our equipment meets strict safety requirements and are in excellent condition.

 

6) What are the Baby equipment hire fees?

All our equipment have a minimum charge based on six days hire.  Just state the dates you wish to hire the item(s) for.  Please note any returns after the specified dates will incur late fees.

 

7) Do you install car seats?

No, we don’t.  It is your responsibility to install the car seat correctly and we don’t take responsibility for incorrect use.

8) Do I have to register to hire with Seat4Kids? How do I know my booking is confirmed?

No, you don’t have to register to enquire or hire from our website.  Simply book via our website and we will be in touch to confirm your booking.  We request you book in advance as unable to service last minute requests such as the next day or same day!

 

9) Is there a bond?

No, a bond is not required.  If there are any additional charges after your hire we will process using your credit card details submitted when you first made your initial booking.

Our standard repair fee is $60 for damaged equipment and additional replacement costs may apply if item is heavily damaged / deemed unusable.

 

10) When and where will I receive the products?

As each hire is different and tailored for your requirements we will confirm delivery details with you after receiving your booking.

 

11) Does Seat4Kids ship internationally?

No, we currently only service within Victoria, Australia and our equipment can only be used domestically.

 

12) What about delivery/collection fees?

Delivery/collection fees may apply and will be confirmed with you after receiving your booking.

Some example delivery/collection fees are listed below:

 Specific locations within Melbourne City from $35

 We will contact you to arrange delivery / return.

 

13) Can I cancel my order after confirmation?

Yes, but to qualify for a refund less $10.00 processing fee you will need to cancel at least 4 days before your first day of hire.

Also we don’t provide partial refunds for equipment returned earlier due to change of mind or circumstances etc.

 

14) Is it safe to book and pay for equipment hire online?

When you pay using our secure online credit card facility you can be confident that your details are protected by the latest security mechanisms and are used for the purposes of the transaction only.

 

15) How do I pay and what credit cards do you accept?

You can pay for your order via credit card.  We accept Visa and Mastercard only.

 

16) I don’t have a credit card. Do you accept other forms of payment?

No, we only accept credit cards.

 

17) Does the price include GST?

Yes, all prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST (10% goods and services tax).
